Corowa is spoilt for choice with a rich history to discover.

Step back in the time and discover the Birthplace of Federation. Visit the Corowa Information Centre to get your self-guided map and explore historic buildings such as Federation Museum, Corowa Court House and Flour Mill to name a few.

Have fun at the local attractions


Organise a round at the local golf course or try your luck with lawn bowls or explore all there is to do on the surrounding waterways.

Launch your boat for a day of watersports and swimming. Try your luck and drop a line with some fishing.

Be tempted by beautifully prepared food with a range of cafes and restaurants in the region. Just an 800 metre stroll to Sanger Street’s bakery, cafes and restaurants.  Some of our recommendations include Chocolate Factory, Corowa Golf Club, Pickled Sisters and All Saints Estate. Alternatively we can arrange for you to catch the local RSL Club’s shuttle bus for a meal.

Getting Around


For bike hire contact Corowa Visitor Information Centre. There they can supply you with cycling and walking maps and bookings are essential. You can hire children and adult bikes to see the township.


You can hire a car from any of the major hire companies at Sydney Airport, Melbourne Airport and Albury Airport plus many more.


Corowa Wahgunyah Taxis - 02 6033 1634. They service Corowa, Rutherglen and Wahgunyah areas.


RSL club offers a shuttle bus service to and from their venue for a small cost. Just speak to one of the Motel Meneres team at reception to arrange a pick-up.
